During our Easter vacation, we found a Lodge with a tropical garden, perfect for relaxing by the pool and enjoying the early morning sun. This lodge was surrounded by a variety of tropical plants. the owners were very welcoming, and they provided helpful suggestions on local attractions and nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed the cocktail bar located just across the street.
The room accommodations and amenities weren't as we expected. the room had a "musty" smell, and the building seemed old.

Starting on a positive note, the area around the hotel is conveniently located near several malls, making shopping an easy task. the rooms have a relatively pleasant outward appearance. once you’ve crossed the threshold, you'll realize the shortcomings outweigh the benefits. the bathroom reeks of mildew, and the service leaves no room for praise. Breakfast is shoddy, and the view out the window, if any, isn't worthy of a second glance.
The cleanliness of the place is lacking, with dirty bathrooms and shabby service.

Helpful staff; clean room, good location
shower is very small; there were several knives but no fork in the room.

The hosts were extreemly friendly. The cottage was immaculate and very clean. Our hosts recommended an excellent restuarant and we really appreciated our complimentary glass of wine on arrival. Would stay with them again
The noisy borehole pump early in the morning.

Friendly and welcoming owners. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Helpful staff who provided great advice and assistance. Enjoyable social atmosphere. Well-appointed facilities with outdoor grill and table. Availability of swimming pool and safety features. Pet-friendly policy and presence of TV. Comfortable bed and small deck off the room
There was nothing I didn't like.

The hosts were absolutely great! Kevin and Diane are real sweethearts. The location is perfect for shopping, sport, beach, sight-seeing, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and privacy of my chalet. Will most certainly stay there again on my next trip to Somerset West area and will strongly recommend it to my friends. Enough said!

I loved the hotel facilities and their cleanliness. The transportation to and from this city was pretty convenient, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. Additionally, the location of this hotel was perfect as there were malls nearby to shop, and breakfast was an absolute delight.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Great location near local restaurants and attractions. Room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in recommending local activities to do.
The wifi signal was weak and didn't reach our room. It would have been nice to have a larger selection of TV channels.
